About Us

GameMusic.com was established back in 1997 when 16-bit was plenty for a video game console.  We are located in El Monte, California, USA (near Los Angeles.)  True to our name, we are about everything related to video game music.  We carry music CDs, sheet music, books, DVDs, Collectibles and more.  But even if you don't want to buy anything, we still want you to visit our website.  Just have fun and browse around, you might find some interesting information you didn't know before.  Isn't that what Internet is all about?

Our mission was and still is, to create a compelling place on the web for hard-core video game music lovers.  We strive to provide the best services to our customers who share the same passion as us about game music.  That is why from day one we only sell stuff that is actually in our warehouse.  If we don't have it, we tell you on the website.  It is wrong to take your order and then have you wait weeks before it is shipped.

Our website is on its' fourth iteration (currently at version 4.3.0/060602.)  It has gone from a static HTML site back in 1997 to SiteServer/SQL in '98 and then Windows IIS/ASP in 1999.  GameMusic.com is now a multi-tier app running on Mac OS X Servers.  Our website is developed in-house with Apple's WebObjects.  (Thank you Apple. WebObjects kicks ass!)

We are constantly improving and adding new features to our site.  Please feel free to give us any feedback or suggestions.

Thank you very much and have fun,

GameMusic.com

p.s. before you ask (and we've been asked many times,) our all-time favorite game music is Final Fantasy VI Original Sound Version.  Game music just sound so right when it is coming out of a SPC700 sound chip in a SNES.  Besides, FF6 is also the best FF ever! :)
