 Katamari Damacy Soundtrack
Easily one of the best OSTs out there for anything (games, movies, musicals, you name it). This soundtrack seems to touch on just about every musical style out there, evoking everyone from the Flaming Lips to Tom Jones to Aphex Twin to Philip Glass to Benny Goodman to... well, you get the idea. Almost all the tracks are extended versions of what you hear in the game, and also sound much more carefully produced, with background music and layers that weren't evident in the game.

Fans of Suikoden 1 and 2 as well as fans of Xenogears Creid are guaranteed to love this CD. Pretty much every good town song from Suikoden 2 is arranged on this CD. There are a few songs with vocals, but they are outnumbered by the instrumental songs, many of which are backed up by a choir. This is really great music!

 Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty Original Soundtrack
Metal Gear Solid has had some of the greatest game soundtracks that I've heard for a long time. This just takes the cake. My favorite track is the main theme, where the music just fits the mood that the intro provides. Harry Gregson hits a gold mine, with outstanding music that makes this like you're in a movie. Another MUST BUY soundtrack in the year of 2001.
